The cost of a pre-wedding photo shoot in Janeshwar Mishra Park has increased. For pre-wedding photo shoots at Lucknow’s Janeshwar Mishra Park (JMP), the Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) has set a cost of ₹17,000 plus GST.

According to an LDA official, the authority has implemented additional prices for photographic sessions in the park because of an increase in demand for photoshoots, including those for pre-weddings, engagements, and birthdays.

Pre-wedding photo shoots were previously done by many people simply purchasing tickets. For the pre-wedding picture session, clearance from the authorities will now need to be obtained. Permission will only be granted following the payment of the required amount.

The current move attempts to control bookings for photo shoots at the 376-acre park, which has grown to be a well-liked location for these kinds of events. Prior to the wedding season, the LDA made this decision, and horticultural officer Shashi Bharti confirmed that reservations are anticipated to start shortly.

Furthermore, the authority is also working on setting prices for additional commercial photo shoots at the mentioned park, while no specifics have been decided upon yet.
