Lucknow will soon honour its latest space hero, Shubhanshu Shukla, by naming a new road in his memory and recognition of his achievements. The upcoming Shubhanshu Shukla Marg in Triveni Nagar will lead directly to Shukla’s ancestral home, celebrating his remarkable contribution to India’s space journey.

The Lucknow Municipal Corporation has sanctioned a budget of ₹10 lakh for the project, which includes the construction of a 150-meter-long road and a drainage system to improve local infrastructure. Work is set to be completed before Shukla’s much-anticipated visit to his hometown on August 17, 2025.
