A "Heritage Conclave" will be held in Lucknow on December 7 by the Uttar Pradesh Tourism Department in an effort to "unlock the economic and cultural potential of the state's heritage properties." The goal is to draw attention to the state's magnificent palaces, regal kothis, and forts. The conference would tell a new story of growth as the state's tourism industry prepares for a revolution.
Approximately 250 well-known hoteliers, investors, real estate agents, and experts from all over the nation will attend the event. They will interact with over 60 royal dignitaries who are in charge of some of the most recognisable historical landmarks in the area.
It seeks to establish partnerships and investigate strategies for releasing the state's heritage properties' economic and cultural potential. If the project is successful, it might establish the state as a top heritage tourism destination, drawing tourists from India and other countries.
The following 6 properties were recently leased by the Tourism Department under the initiative's public-private partnership (PPP) model:
1. Chunar Fort in Mirzapur
2. Baruasagar Fort in Jhansi
3. Chattar Manzil in Lucknow
4. Barsana Mahal in Mathura
5. Shukla Talab in Kanpur Dehat
6. Roshan-ud-Daula in Lucknow
With so many forts, palaces, and villas, the state offers a wealth of opportunities for heritage tourism. The state can draw even more visitors by advertising these historical sites.
