The new two-lane road will allow commuters heading towards Lucknow, Varanasi, Nepal and several eastern Uttar Pradesh districts to bypass congested parts of Gorakhpur.

The CM also said that the upcoming Rajghat–Habert Bandha–Madhopur embankment road is being developed as a four-lane corridor. Once completed, it will connect with the Domingarh four-lane bypass and the Lucknow route, potentially making travel towards Lucknow more convenient.

For Lucknow travellers, the development could mean better road connectivity with eastern Uttar Pradesh and smoother journeys to and from Gorakhpur.
