Public access is granted to the "Laxmanpuri ecotourism reserve" on RaeBareli Road. Built on 12 hectares of land close to the SGPGIMS, it may be the first time the forest department has created a location like this for Lucknow residents, complete with age-appropriate leisure activities zones.

A defined area inside a city that strives to preserve natural ecosystems and biodiversity while taking the urban environment into account is called an eco-reserve. The city's Laxmanpuri Eco-Reserve is a protected area dedicated to protecting wildlife and ecological spaces.

Laxmanpuri Ecotourism Reserve:

An open gym, a nature walk, a separate children's park, an oxygen point, a yoga point, a cycling track, and Miyawaki forest are some of the amenities available here. There will be distinct health and knowledge-sharing advantages for each of these facilities.

About 90% of the Laxmanpuri eco-reserve will remain in its natural state, with minimal brick and cement building. A lot of work has gone into keeping the land's trees and plants intact, and facilities have been provided without disturbing the natural landscape.
