Lucknow Metro has decorated a metro train in the colours of the Lucknow SuperGiants (LSG) and will provide special services on the days when the city hosts IPL matches.

Sports lovers can now travel to the stadium more conveniently thanks to Lucknow Metro's extended running hours on match days, which ensures that supporters can enjoy the IPL season to the fullest. This facilitates match attendance by handling the spike in travellers on particular days.

Metro trains will run until 12:30 am on April 1, 4, 14, and 22, as well as May 9 and 18, when LSG hosts other teams. At 12:30 am, the final train will leave the CCS Airport and Munshipulia metro stations. A number of activities, including special visits from well-known IPL players, have been planned as part of the collaboration with the team, according to Lucknow Metro officials.

Furthermore, feeder bus services between Ekana Stadium and Indiranagar Metro Station and between Transport Nagar Metro Station and Ekana Stadium are now available till midnight thanks to a partnership between Lucknow Metro and Lucknow City Transport Services. This guarantees everyone travels easily and conveniently.

Sushil Kumar, the managing director of UPMRC, said, “This is the third consecutive year that we are offering midnight metro services to ensure safe travel for cricket fans. Our aim is to make your match experience as convenient as possible and encourage everyone to use the service to make their IPL moments even more memorable.”
