With the extravagant Khurram Nagar Flyover project, the Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) is progressing impressively. Remarkably, the portion from Munshi Pulia to Polytechnic has already reached 80% completion, while the portion from Indira Nagar Sector 25 to Tedhi Pulia is already 70% finished.

According to the most recent project update, there has been a lot of progress made at the start of the flyover, close to Section 25, including building the road needed for material delivery. The Tedhi Puliya end of the flyover is currently the centre of efforts, and significant work is also being done in the middle near the Kukrail Reserve woodland (in front of Smriti Vihar park).

Although the project's Detailed Project Report (DPR) originally called for completion by December 2024, the present situation indicates that completion may take place in the first quarter of 2025 due to outstanding work.

The two-lane bridge smoothly joins the Polytechnic flyover as it starts 200 metres in front of Munshi Puliya and heads towards Sitapur Road. By year's end, it is anticipated that this stretch will be accessible to the general public. After construction is finished, the whole stretch from Polytechnic to Tedhi Pulia will provide continuous, free-flowing access for ordinary traffic as well as large trucks, especially after hours.
