The Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission is hosting a three-day capacity building workshop as part of the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gramin Kaushalya Yojana to empower young people in rural areas.

The goal of the workshop is to introduce the most recent training concepts to mission officers and staff. Kapil Dev Agarwal, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Entrepreneurship, Vocational Education, and Skill Development inaugurated the event on 21st April.

Important subjects like project execution, training centre operations, candidate management, helpdesk assistance, inspections, on-the-job training, and evaluation procedures will be covered in a variety of technical sessions during the workshop. Financial modules, planning, and placement management frameworks will be the subject of future seminars.

The second day will focus on real-world issues that arise at the field level, promoting dialogue and problem-solving. Sessions on the framework of the Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission schemes, short-term skilling programs, portal management, training procedures, and evaluation methods will be on the final day's schedule.

Experts from top firms including Tata Technologies and Dassault Systems will participate in a special session on industry practices, where they will discuss current industry demands and potential areas of cooperation.
