The Lucknow Police Commissionerate has issued a thorough traffic advice ahead of the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) vs. Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) IPL match at Ekana Cricket Stadium. The advice describes a number of limitations and parking guidelines for commuters and onlookers, and it will be in force from 3 p.m. to midnight on May 23.
In accordance with the advisory, commercial vehicle traffic on city roads will be restricted until the event is over. It is recommended that buses and other heavy vehicles use different routes. In the meantime, taxis and private vehicles will be permitted admission with careful drop-off and parking regulations. To prevent crowding and guarantee efficient traffic flow, people are urged to follow the designated pathways at Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium.
Commuters and spectators are urged to plan their travel accordingly and adhere to the traffic guidelines to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience. A hard copy of the match ticket is also needed to enter the stadium; digital copies won't be allowed. Three hours prior to the game, gates will open, and after the game has begun, re-entry is not allowed. Coins, earbuds, and combustible materials are among the things that are not allowed within the stadium.
The Shaheed Path between Husadiya and Sushant Golf City will not be used for passenger pickups or drops, similar to city buses. Passengers will be dropped off by airport vehicles prior to Ahimamau. Vehicles from Arjunganj will drop off passengers on the road behind PHQ, UP-112, after turning left from Ahimamau. They should next use the G-20 intersection in the direction of Gomtinagar.
After the event is over, regular traffic flow should return. To get to the event on time, commuters and drivers must steer clear of the aforementioned sections and take other routes and public transportation.
