The UPSRTC Lucknow-Kanpur Expressway bus service is now operational, offering commuters a faster and more convenient way to travel between the two cities. Launched on July 20, 2026, the buses use the new 63-km Lucknow-Kanpur Expressway, reducing travel time to just 35–45 minutes.

Passengers can board the buses from Awadh Bus Station or Alambagh Bus Terminal in Lucknow. The fare for the full journey is ₹123, including the revised toll charges.

The new service is expected to benefit thousands of daily commuters, including office-goers, students and business travellers. Passengers can check real-time schedules and book tickets through the UPSRTC Online Reservation portal.
