Lucknow residents planning an international getaway will soon have another convenient travel option. Direct flights between Lucknow and Bangkok are set to resume on November 17, 2026, after a gap of more than four months. The service, operated by Thai AirAsia, will connect Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport with Bangkok’s Don Mueang International Airport (DMK). The route was suspended on June 5.
The returning service comes alongside an expansion of Lucknow airport’s winter flight schedule, bringing more connectivity for travellers from the city and nearby areas.
Under the new winter schedule, daily flight movements at Lucknow airport are set to rise from 108 to 134. The schedule begins on October 25 and is expected to be fully implemented by November 1, 2026.
The expanded schedule will connect Lucknow to 20 domestic and 10 international destinations, including Abu Dhabi and Riyadh. The airport is also preparing for winter fog and low visibility, which can affect flight operations.
For Lucknow travellers, the return of the Bangkok route and the increase in flight movements mean more international connectivity and greater travel options this winter. Passengers should check the latest airline schedules before booking, as timings and frequencies may change.
