In a landmark decision to boost Uttar Pradesh’s sporting ecosystem, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has approved the establishment of an international-standard shooting range and a multipurpose sports complex in Lucknow. This move is expected to open new horizons for budding athletes, providing them with cutting-edge infrastructure and opportunities to compete at the global stage.

The establishment of the Shaheed Chandrashekhar Azad International Shooting Range and Multipurpose Sports Complex in Lucknow has been directed by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. In order to provide the state's athletic talents international attention and to create jobs locally, these initiatives should be initiated in a PPP configuration with priority.

The Chief Minister stated at the Urban Development Department's review meeting that directives have been issued to begin putting the plan into action in order to make the municipalities with district headquarters smart and developed.

Giving the municipalities of the district headquarters a developed-smart look, according to the chief minister, would improve the infrastructure and provide the people with high-quality, transparent services.

A plan to directly purchase 650 electric buses in other cities and run 200 in Lucknow and Kanpur on a net cost contract manner was proposed during the conference. According to the Chief Minister, electric buses ought to be promoted, and the infrastructure required for charging them ought to be ready for use shortly.
