The parallel taxiway at Amausi Airport is beginning to take shape. After it is constructed, it will be simpler for aircraft to land and take off on the runway. The deadline for finishing this job is August 15. Beginning on March 1, Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport ceased operating daytime flights. Flights were not being operated here from 11 am to 5 pm.

Three significant projects are underway at Amausi Airport during this time. AGL system upgrade, parallel taxiway, and recarpeting of the runway. When these projects are finished, the airport's capacity will rise. It will be safer and easier to operate aeroplanes.

According to the airport spokesperson, till July 15, construction and repair work will be conducted from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Following this, work will be done from July 16 to August 15 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. In order to begin day flights on August 16, the goal is to finish all of the work within this time frame. According to sources, almost 60% of the parallel taxiway's construction is finished. There are other projects underway as well.

The airport's current runway measures 2,744 meters in length and 45 meters in width. This runway is being paralleled by a taxiway (P-9). The planes are moved to the taxiway after landing so that the second flight can land and take off when the runway is clear. Planes may be delivered and taken off the runway with ease thanks to the development of a parallel taxiway, which will speed up and simplify aircraft operation. This improves security as well.

The airport is now upgrading the AGL system, which is another significant project. Improvements are being made to the airfield signage and the Airfield Ground Lighting (AGL) system to replace the halogen lights with LEDs. This will make nighttime aeroplane landings safe and simple. LED installation will also result in a 50% reduction in electricity usage.
