The state-of-the-art open-air museum was officially inaugurated by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Developed jointly by the Indian Navy and UP Tourism, the project aims to celebrate India's maritime legacy while inspiring future generations.

The biggest highlight of the museum is undoubtedly INS Gomati, the legendary decommissioned missile frigate of the Indian Navy. Standing proudly as the centrepiece of the attraction, the warship offers visitors a rare glimpse into India's naval strength and operational history.

More than just a tourist attraction, the museum serves as a tribute to the courage, sacrifice, and service of India's naval heroes. It also offers students, defence enthusiasts, and families an opportunity to learn about maritime security, naval warfare, and the role of the Indian Navy in protecting the nation.

With the opening of Nausena Shaurya Vatika, Lucknow has created history by becoming home to an extraordinary naval heritage attraction.
