Lucknow, get ready to immerse yourself in a world where words take center stage, emotions flow unfiltered, and stories come alive. Asia’s largest spoken word festival, Spoken Fest, is making its way to the City of Nawabs with a specially curated Spoken Evening.
What Is It?
Spoken Fest is widely celebrated across Asia for its powerful blend of storytelling, poetry, live performance, music, food, and immersive experiences. It’s a festival where connections are fostered, and where words become a portal to emotional resonance and collective joy.
Founded by Roshan Abbas and Tess Joseph, along with Kommune co-founders Ankur Tewari, Gaurav Kapur, and Ranjit Raina, Spoken Fest has grown into a cultural movement.
This marks the 10th edition of Spoken Fest, now going on the road with specially curated Spoken Evenings in cities like Lucknow, Indore, and Pune. It brings the festival’s core magic—intimate performances and genuine connection—to you, right in your city.
Expect captivating performances from artists such as Priya Malik, Amol Parashar, Srishti Shrivastava, and other local talents. From heartfelt stories and poetic expressions to soulful music, the festival pairs its artistic offerings with exceptional food and a flea market. The vibe is intentionally warm, cozy, and unfiltered.
If you’ve ever been moved by a poem, laughed at a story, or felt connected to a stranger through a shared emotion, Spoken Fest is where you belong. Whether you’re a poet, a lover of beautiful words, or someone seeking warmth and belonging, Spoken Evening in Lucknow promises to stir the heart.
