Don't miss the CSIR-National Botanical Research Institute's (NBRI) annual 'Rose and Gladiolus' show if you want to enjoy the awe-inspiring sight of more than 100 gladiolus blooming in a field while about 125 rose varieties are perfumed.
In a first, the scientific institute will open its gates to the public so they can see the institute's gladiolus field and rose garden in addition to presenting lovely rose and gladiolus varieties on its botanic garden grounds.
These international-caliber exhibitions showcase research and development efforts in ornamental horticulture to engage the general public, connoisseurs, forward-thinking farmers, and garden enthusiasts in the cultivation of attractive plants. It gives horticulturists, gardeners, scientists, researchers, and the general public a chance to engage on issues of shared interest.
