Lucknow is set to experience the monsoon in a whole new way as Baarish – Art.Music.Monsoon comes to the city on Saturday, September 26, 2026. The immersive cultural experience will take place at Clarks Avadh, Hazratganj, from 6 PM onwards, bringing together music, storytelling, food, craft, conversations and other experiences inspired by the many moods of the rains.
The evening will feature the Kutle Khan Project as the headliner, bringing Rajasthan's folk and Sufi traditions to the stage through soulful melodies and energetic rhythms. Megha Re, conceived and performed by Askari Naqvi, will explore the monsoon through vocals, sarangi, dholak and tabla, alongside poetry associated with Awadh and Urdu literary traditions.
Adding another literary layer to the evening, poet and music scholar Yatindra Mishra will present Kahaani Geeton Ki: Baarish Edition, exploring the connection between rain, songs, poetry and memory. The event will also feature Baarish Bazaar, bringing together designers, artisans and lifestyle creators, along with curated food, drinks and immersive cultural experiences.
For Lucknow, the experience has been curated around the city's relationship with Awadh, tehzeeb, poetry, food and the monsoon, making it more than a conventional music event. The Lucknow chapter is being presented by Excurators Events, with Kaamakazi Solutions Pvt. Ltd. as the event partner.
