Shankh Air: All About Uttar Pradesh's First Scheduled Airline

In a move to increase air travel in India, the aviation industry has welcomed a new airline called Shankh Air. It would be Uttar Pradesh's first scheduled airline, with its main hubs being Lucknow and Noida. With both interstate and intrastate operations, the airline seeks to link India's major cities.

1. Shankh Air will operate its first flight using a brand-new Boeing 737-800NG. This is a next generation narrow-body aeroplane with amazing facilities and state-of-the-art equipment.

2. Shankh Air is the first scheduled airline to operate out of Uttar Pradesh, having been founded in 2023. 

3. Shankh Air is owned by Sharvan Kumar Vishwakarma and it’s motto is Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, which translates to "The World Is One Family”.

4. By connecting all of the major Indian cities, the airline hopes to increase the number of possibilities for travel inside and between states. Important locations include Gorakhpur, Varanasi, and Lucknow.

5. Additionally, Shankh Air intends to open flights to newly developed airports like Bhogapuram Airport, Pune International Airport and Navi Mumbai International Airport.

Its goal is to improve regional connection by providing full-service travel at competitive rates and connecting under-represented cities.
