Lucknow, the city of Nawabs and culture, is about to get a refreshing dose of nature with the upcoming Namo Van, part of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s nationwide initiative to develop eco-friendly parks across major Indian cities. This initiative aims to promote sustainability, environmental awareness, and urban green spaces, giving residents a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life.

The Lucknow Namo Van will be spread over a sprawling 13.5 acres along the scenic Gomti Riverfront, in Ghaila near the Rashtriya Prerna Sthal. Designed with nature at its core, the park will avoid concrete structures, instead embracing organic landscaping, lush greenery, and natural elements to create a calming, eco-friendly environment.

Visitors can look forward to a host of thoughtfully designed features:

- Organic Café

- Flower Beds

- Butterfly Park

- Walking Trails & Green Spaces

- Environmental Education Zones

Unlike conventional parks, Namo Van is envisioned as a model of eco-conscious recreation. It will serve not just as a recreational space but also as a platform for community engagement, environmental education, and a celebration of biodiversity in the heart of Lucknow.

Situated on the tranquil banks of the Gomti, the park promises a perfect blend of leisure, wellness, and ecological harmony, offering a much-needed respite from urban life. Once complete, Namo Van is expected to become a landmark destination for both locals and tourists—a place where people can reconnect with nature, rejuvenate their minds, and embrace the city’s commitment to sustainable development.

Namo Van is not just a park; it’s a vision for a greener, healthier, and more sustainable future.
