Maha Kumbh authorities, who are already receiving praise from followers worldwide, will now attempt to set 4 Guinness world records starting on February 14.
After Amrit snan, the 13 akharas would depart the Mela region for Varanasi by February 10. Likewise, Kalpawasis will depart following Maghi Purnima on February 12. The Mela officials will then try to set four world records.
4 World Records That Will Be Set Are As Follows:
1. On February 14, 15,000 sanitation workers will work together to clean the ghats in the first try, setting a new record in the process. In the past, 10,000 workers cleaned the ghats collectively during Kumbh 2019.
2. In the second world record attempt, scheduled for February 15, around 300 individuals will purify the Sangam water stream, setting a new record.
3. A new record will be created when 1,000 e-rickshaws are driven simultaneously at the parade ground on February 16. The Guinness World Record for the "largest parade of buses" during the Kumbh was set on February 28, 2019, when a procession of 500 buses led by the UPSRTC was held on National Highway-19.
4. Up to 10,000 people will set a world record on February 17 by hand writing in the Ganga Pandal in just 8 hours. The Prayagraj mela authority currently holds the global record for the most handprint painting contributions in an eight-hour period, with 7,664 people participating in Kumbh 2019.
A crew from the Guinness Book and World Records will oversee these records and will be arriving in Prayagraj soon.
