A state-of-the-art software lab with state-of-the-art infrastructure and technology will soon be established in the state capital by International Business Machines Corporation (IBM), a global technology leader, in keeping with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's vision to turn Uttar Pradesh into a digital powerhouse.
As a result, Lucknow will become a significant centre for artificial intelligence (AI). The project's blueprint and important elements, including the possibility of job creation, were presented to the CM by an IBM delegation.
In addition to expressing confidence that IBM's technological expertise would greatly expand the IT/ITeS sector in Uttar Pradesh while also fostering local talent, Yogi gave the group the state government's complete support.
According to the proposal, the software lab will be set up at Platinum Mall in Sushant Golf City. With an emphasis on software engineering, design, and development in line with international standards, it will rank among IBM's biggest software development centres in India.
IBM's entry into the Lucknow market represents a major advancement for Uttar Pradesh's technology sector. In order to upskill the workforce and create new job prospects, especially for the state's youth, the lab will be essential. The Lucknow Lab will offer roles including software engineers, application developers, technical testers, UX designers and more, among others.
