Due to continuing repairs at Amausi Airport, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed the airport administration to shorten the flight suspension period by 2 hours in order to alleviate the issues that passengers are facing. Due to the maintenance work, flights are now suspended from 10 am until 6 pm. Evening flights experience a rush in such circumstances.
Since March 1, Amausi Airport has been constructing parallel taxiways and extending its runway. As a result, flights are halted during this period of time. The project must be completed by July 15. Flights will not run for eight hours each day in such a scenario. Every day, 157 flights depart from Amausi Airport. 22 of them, whose timing is throughout the day, have been impacted. As a result, passengers have to deal with difficulties.
In this case, the repair work would be carried out from 11:00 am - 5:00 pm following the implementation of the Chief Minister's directives. As a result, flights will be able to begin later than four o'clock. In addition to relieving many passengers, starting flights after four o'clock will also lessen the number of people that congregate at the airport in the evening.
