To improve passenger experience, all international flight operations at Chaudhary Charan Singh International (CCSI) Airport in Lucknow have been moved from Terminal 1 (T1) to Terminal 3 (T3). This came into effect from June 8, 2024. Domestic flight operations had already been shifted to T3 on April 21 this year.

Previously, International flights from Terminal 1 were operated by Indigo Airlines, Air-India Express, Saudia Airlines, Oman Air, Thai AirAsia, Flynas, Salam Air, and FlyDubai. They started operating from T3 on June 8.

CCSI Airport spokesperson said, “After inauguration of Terminal 3 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on March10, the airport commenced operations from T3 with Akasa Air on March 31 and shifted all domestic operations to T3 on April 21, 2024. The shifting of international operations to T3 marks the end of the phased plan of shifting all flight operations to one place, i.e. T3. The airport welcomes all airlines to T3.”

International travellers must use the "Up ramp" to exit the Lakshman Circle, and arriving travellers must pick up their bags at T3's arrivals area on the ground floor. Additionally, the airport provides guidance-only entry points and international-to-international transfer services. Modern amenities including Digi Yatra, Self-Baggage Drop, and state-of-the-art baggage screening devices are available at Terminal 3, which opened on March 10.
