Yogi To Inaugurate Rashtra Prerna Sthal On December 25!

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is slated to officially inaugurate the Rashtra Prerna Sthal in Vasant Kunj, Lucknow on December 25, the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

The memorial complex is being constructed at an estimated cost of ₹230 crore and is intended to serve as an inspirational and educational space, particularly aimed at students.

The Rashtra Prerna Sthal aims to commemorate and celebrate the lives and contributions of key leaders including Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, and Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya.

Officials describe it as more than just a memorial — it is being designed as a modern cultural and educational complex, integrating features such as:

- A digital museum with interactive galleries and exhibitions.

- A holographic theatre and 3D projection installations.

- Statues of the three principal leaders, reportedly 65 feet tall — claimed to be among the tallest in parks in the region.

- An open-air auditorium with seating for about 3,000 people.

- Spaces for yoga and meditation.

- Parking facilities and three helipads to facilitate VVIP access.

In addition, statues of other eminent leaders such as Mahatma Gandhi, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, and B. R. Ambedkar is also to be included in the complex.

The LDA and state authorities hope the site will become a major tourist, educational, and civic hub in Lucknow, drawing students, scholars, and visitors from across the country.
