Udan Yatri Cafe Launched at Lucknow Airport!

Lucknow’s Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport has introduced a major passenger-friendly initiative with the launch of the Udaan Yatri Cafe, offering food and beverages at highly affordable prices.

The newly opened café is located in the pre-check-in departure area of Terminal 3, ensuring easy access for all passengers before boarding formalities. The highlight of the facility is its budget-friendly menu, with snacks and beverages starting at just ₹10.

The café was inaugurated by Union Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjarapu as part of a broader initiative to improve passenger amenities and make air travel more inclusive.

Udaan Yatri Cafe is part of the government’s larger vision under the UDAN (Ude Desh Ka Aam Nagrik) scheme, which aims to make flying more accessible to the common citizen. One of the key challenges for travelers has been the high cost of food at airports, and this initiative directly addresses that issue by offering essential items like tea, coffee, water, and snacks at minimal prices.

Similar cafes have already been launched at multiple airports across India, receiving positive feedback from passengers for their affordability and convenience. The rollout is expected to expand further, with plans to introduce such facilities at airports nationwide.
