Lucknow is poised to become the custodian of India’s naval heritage, as Phase-2 work has officially begun on the country’s first-ever Naval Valour Museum. Located strategically near Ekana Stadium, the project spans 8 acres and aims to narrate the saga of India’s maritime strength — past, present, and future.

Unlike any other defense museum in India, this Naval Valour Museum is dedicated exclusively to India’s naval power, telling stories of valour from ancient maritime civilizations to the modern-day Indian Navy. Conceptualized as a living, interactive space, the museum will be a significant cultural and educational landmark, especially in a landlocked state like Uttar Pradesh.

The Naval Valour Museum will be an experience-rich venue designed to appeal to defense enthusiasts, students, tourists, and patriotic citizens alike.

- Explore India’s maritime ingenuity, including trade routes, ship architecture, and port development dating back to the Indus Valley Civilization and Chola Empire.

- Simulators and digital exhibits explaining sonar systems, missile guidance, aircraft carriers, and submarine technology used by the Indian Navy today.

- A dedicated section to showcase the bravery of naval personnel who have received gallantry awards for their service to the nation.

The second phase of construction will focus on major civil works, landscaping, exhibition design, utilities, and the structural integration of the INS Gomti. Specialized teams are also working on crafting digital walkthroughs, multimedia zones, 3D simulations, and interactive learning corners to bring the naval experience alive.

As construction continues, the Naval Valour Museum is set to become a national symbol of maritime pride, offering not just a tribute to the Navy but a dynamic platform for learning, remembrance, and inspiration. It is expected to be a game-changer in how India connects with its naval legacy — right from the heart of Uttar Pradesh.
