Lucknow Vidhan Bhavan Gets Podcast Studio, Digital Library

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has inaugurated a series of modern facilities at Lucknow's Vidhan Bhavan, giving the state's legislative complex a major digital upgrade ahead of the Monsoon Session.

Among the biggest additions is a state-of-the-art podcast studio designed to improve public engagement, especially with younger audiences. The platform will feature MLAs from different professional backgrounds—including doctors, engineers, entrepreneurs, and educators—sharing their personal journeys alongside discussions on governance and public policy.

The Vidhan Bhavan also now houses a digital library for members of the Legislative Council, providing easy access to legislative proceedings, reference books, and historical records in a digital format.

Adding an immersive touch, a virtual helicopter ride experience has been introduced to showcase Uttar Pradesh's religious, cultural, and natural heritage through an interactive virtual tour. The project also includes renovated council spaces, a beautified Legislative Council chamber, and upgraded corridors displaying important milestones in the state's legislative history.

During the inauguration, Assembly Speaker Satish Mahana also announced a special initiative to mark 150 years of the national song "Vande Mataram", with all six stanzas set to be incorporated into legislative programmes.

The new facilities are expected to make Lucknow's Vidhan Bhavan more technologically advanced while improving accessibility, public communication, and the overall legislative experience.
