Delhivery Launches Major Hub in Lucknow for Festive Season!

As India gears up for the festive season—a time of heightened online shopping and e-commerce activity—Delhivery, one of India’s largest integrated logistics providers, has launched a major Gateway Hub in Lucknow, strengthening its northern India network and regional service capabilities.

Launched on July 24, 2025, this new facility couldn’t have come at a more opportune time. With consumer demand expected to spike during Raksha Bandhan, Dussehra, Diwali, and the wedding season, the new hub is designed to optimize shipment flow, reduce transit times, and provide quicker last-mile deliveries across Uttar Pradesh and adjoining regions.

The facility spans 100,000 sq ft and boosts Delhivery’s regional capacity by approximately 40%, with two automated sortation systems handling up to 5,000 shipments per hour. It features over 1,300 bin locations with a total capacity for more than 17,000 shipments, enabling local businesses to store goods regionally and ship them across India more efficiently.

Delhivery’s move is also a big win for local businesses and employment. The hub is expected to enable local sellers to store and fulfill orders regionally, leading to faster nationwide deliveries. It will also create thousands of jobs, both directly in operations and indirectly through service partners, transporters, and support vendors.
