LDA Plans Sports and Community Upgrades in Lucknow!

Lucknow residents can expect improved sports and community facilities as the Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) moves ahead with a series of infrastructure projects in Aliganj and Jankipuram.

Under the proposed plans, the LDA Stadium in Aliganj will be upgraded with a swimming pool, an indoor badminton court, and a new basketball court, strengthening sports infrastructure in one of the city's key residential areas. The move is aimed at encouraging fitness and providing better recreational opportunities for residents.

In Jankipuram, the authority is planning a modern community centre along with horticulture and green development works on vacant land near Kursi Road. Officials say the projects are intended to improve public amenities and enhance the quality of life for local residents.

The developments are part of LDA's broader efforts to create better recreational spaces and modern civic infrastructure across Lucknow, supporting the city's growing population and urban expansion.
