Chhedi Lal Vaish opened what is now Chhedi Lal Ram Prasad Vaish, a store in Hazratganj, in 1922. Following him, his son Ram Prasad Vaish and his grandson Ramesh Vaish took over the store. Today, Akash, a fourth-generation descendant, mostly oversees this ancestral store. This simple store in the upscale neighbourhood of Hazratganj is well-known for its delicious shakes.

A trip to the King of Shakes was a significant aspect of Ganjing. It was considered that your Ganjing was lacking if you did not have a cold shake or coffee here. Every day of the year, shakes are served at the King of Shakes, which is an intriguing characteristic. Their most well-known shakes are the Badam Shake and the Mango Shake. Their delectable shakes are creamy, nourishing, and perfectly sweet, making them enough to stand alone as a full meal.
