Lucknow is set to welcome one of the year’s major industry events for the pharmaceutical sector on February 3, 2026, as the Uttar Pradesh government hosts Pharma Conclave 1.0: Investment Opportunities in Uttar Pradesh. The event will take place at the Hotel Taj Mahal in the city and will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
Organised jointly by the Uttar Pradesh Food Safety and Drug Administration (FSDA) and Invest UP, the conclave aims to position Uttar Pradesh as a leading hub for pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturing in India. It will highlight the state’s robust infrastructure, investor-friendly policies, and growth potential in one of the country’s fastest-developing industrial sectors.
Government ministers and senior officials are expected to attend, alongside leaders from major pharmaceutical companies such as Sun Pharma, Zydus, Dr. Reddy’s, Mankind Pharma and Torrent, who will discuss growth, research, and investment opportunities.
The conclave is also seen as part of the state’s broader plan to create jobs, attract capital, and accelerate pharma manufacturing and innovation in the region — potentially strengthening Lucknow’s role as a key economic centre in northern India.
