One of Lucknow’s most famous cultural fest, Kabir Festival is back for its 6th edition this December and it is the perfect opportunity for you to celebrate art and culture at a place that promotes peace, harmony, and friendship.
This year, The Kabir Festival will take place at the Sangeet Natak Akademi in Gomti Nagar from November 29 – December 1. For every person who has an interest in theatre, art, discussions, poetry, music and films or just wants to spend an evening immersed in creativity and innovation, this event is a must attend.
The festival this year will be held in collaboration with Sant Kabir Academy. The curtain raiser will have a team of 25 artistes staging the dance-drama based on the life and philosophy of Sant Kabir.
Not just this, you will be able to witness plays from other cities like Mumbai, Delhi and Jammu including a play, ‘Maa Mujhe Tagore Bana De’ inspired by late author Mohan Bhandari’s Punjabi story.
US Based film makers Avi Kabir and Sujit Singh will also be awarded for their contribution to cinema and theatre. This three-day fest will have special sessions on Indian and international films, exciting podcasts and Sufi music as well as stand-up comedy acts to keep the viewers entertained.
Not to forget, there will be lip smacking food to tingle your taste buds.
