The upcoming annual flower display in Lucknow is expected to turn Raj Bhavan into a canvas of colourful flora once more.
The flower exhibit will bring together forward-thinking producers, exporters, and farmers of fruits, vegetables, flowers, mushrooms, betel leaves, and honey, providing an enriching experience for everyone, according to Dr. Vijay Bahadur Dwivedi, Director of the Department of Horticulture and Food Processing.
The Raj Bhavan Garden:
In addition to medicinal gardens for medicinal herbs and a culinary garden, the Raj Bhavan garden features lush green lawns, a rose garden, and flower beds along the main driveway where a variety of seasonal flowers are produced. The flower gardens are planted with a variety of seasonal blooms. Additionally, there are numerous potted flower plants in front of the main structure and in the portico.
The grass is adorned with six fountains that are illuminated with vibrant lights. The primary needs of the garden are satisfied by the on-site nursery. To meet the needs of the kitchen, a variety of vegetables are cultivated in the kitchen garden. Several times, Raj Bhavan Garden has been voted the city's best garden.
