Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate the 19th National Jamboree of the Bharat Scouts and Guides in Lucknow on November 24, 2025. This prestigious event marks the return of the National Jamboree to Uttar Pradesh after 61 years, reflecting the state’s growing focus on youth empowerment and development.

The week-long camp, scheduled from November 23 to 29, will be held at the Vrindavan Scheme in Lucknow, bringing together over 32,000 youth from across India and abroad. Participants will engage in a wide range of activities designed to promote teamwork, discipline, leadership, and self-reliance.

Under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the Uttar Pradesh government is constructing a state-of-the-art gated Tent City to accommodate 35,000 participants, ensuring world-class facilities and safety. The groundbreaking ceremony for this infrastructure is planned for September 29, 2025, and will be attended by senior ministers, including Cabinet Ministers Suresh Khanna and Yogendra Upadhyay, Basic Education Minister Sandeep Singh, and Minister Gulab Devi, alongside Bharat Scouts and Guides UP President Dr. Mahendra Singh and State Chief Commissioner Dr. Prabhat Kumar.

The Jamboree will feature a variety of activities including adventure sports, science exhibitions, and cultural performances, providing an immersive experience for youth to learn, grow, and celebrate scouting values.
