As we are all aware of the fact that from March 1 to July 15, flight operations at Lucknow's Amausi Airport will not be conducted between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Many flights will be rescheduled and some may cease operations during this period. The impact on the cost of flights is clearly evident. When comparing the first week of March to the last week of February, airfares have already gone up by 30%.
Because of this, the majority of airlines are requesting evening schedules for domestic flights in order to transfer passengers to other cities till late at night. Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Jaipur, and Patna are just a few of the cities that may be reached in 1-3 hours.
In this case, travellers also prefer flights that depart between 6 and 10 p.m. As a result, nighttime flight prices have significantly climbed. The morning trip from Delhi can be booked for as much as Rs 4300, while the evening flight has a cost of Rs 9400. In other cities, the scenario is the same.
Many airlines, including Air India, have cut flights as a result. Air India may move some of its flights from Delhi and Mumbai to Kanpur, according to reports. There are hints that some Indigo flights might be moved to Kanpur as well. A survey has also been carried out by both airlines.
