With 42 national and international food and beverage companies having set up shop, the Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) is preparing to turn Asha Jyoti Lane's bustling "Chatori Gali" into an inventive Food Valley. Thanks to cutting-edge air mist technology, guests will be able to savour their favourite treats in a cool, cosy setting that is kept at about 26°C.

With a five-year deal with a group of private companies from Delhi and Lucknow, LDA vice-chairman Prathamesh Kumar announced that 10 store units with sizes ranging from 40 to 80 square meters and one 220 square metre outlet that had been idle for a long time will now be revived.

A special children's play area featuring a toy train and live entertainment will also be part of the food valley. A 400 KVA transformer and a specialised water supply system will be installed to ensure continuous services.

Kumar stated, "This is not just about setting up food outlets; it's about creating a space where people can sit, eat, and spend time together. The goal is to revive this stretch and make it accessible once again for both residents and visitors. We're working to restore commercial activity in an area that remained inactive for a long time."
