After graduating in product design from Pearl Academy, New Delhi, Mrinalini chose not to pursue conventional corporate design. Instead, she returned to her hometown, Lucknow—a city woven with stories of royal patronage and fine craftsmanship. With a deep sense of nostalgia and purpose, she founded NirSuk Home in 2022 as a tribute to Awadh’s heritage and its artisans.

NirSuk aims to enhance wages and respect for all craftspeople—from embroiderers to block printers and washers—by showcasing handmade quality and transparency.

By introducing adorned home goods including cushions, throws, lampshades, bookmarks, keychains, and more, NirSuk challenges the idea that Chikankari is only worn. Customers can tailor designs—choose sizes, motifs, or collaborate on custom creations—plus, broader plans include exploring other Awadhi crafts.
