Lucknow travellers will soon get faster access to Maharashtra as IndiGo launches direct daily flights to Navi Mumbai from December 25. The new route connects Lucknow directly to the newly inaugurated Navi Mumbai Airport, offering a quicker and more convenient option than flying to Mumbai and battling long road travel.
Lucknow → Navi Mumbai (6E-829): 6:05 am – 8:05 am
Navi Mumbai → Lucknow (6E-830): 7:30 pm – 9:25 pm
Approx fare: ₹6,000 one way
The airport, inaugurated by PM Narendra Modi on October 8, serves key areas like Vashi, Panvel, Nerul, Kharghar, Uran, and offers easy access to the Pune Expressway. The direct link will greatly benefit Lucknow passengers travelling to the Konkan region or Pune, cutting travel time by up to 2–3 hours.
IndiGo has received DGCA approval and bookings will open soon. The service is expected to boost business, tourism, and ease congestion for travellers from both cities.
