Starting October 11, 2026, the historic Aishbagh Ramleela will blend its traditional stage performances with new-age technology. The Aishbagh Ramleela Samiti is consulting tech experts to explore AI-driven visual effects, holograms and LED projections that can add immersive elements to scenes from the Ramayana.

However, the technology is being planned as an enhancement rather than a replacement for live performances. Actors and traditional stagecraft will remain at the heart of the Ramleela, while digital effects will add a new visual dimension to the storytelling.

Another major highlight this year will be the 70-foot Ravana effigy for the traditional Ravana Dahan. For Lucknowites, this means a familiar Dussehra tradition with a distinctly high-tech twist.
