Lucknow is set to enhance its environmental efforts with a new Sustainability Theme Park at Janeshwar Mishra Park, aimed at promoting water conservation and eco-friendly practices. Spread across 15,676 sq. m and built at an estimated cost of ₹8.80 crore, the park will serve as an interactive space where visitors can learn about sustainable living in a practical and engaging way.
The park will feature rainwater harvesting models, interactive exhibits, and a dedicated knowledge centre designed to educate people on responsible resource use. By combining awareness with hands-on learning, the initiative aims to encourage citizens—especially younger generations—to adopt sustainable habits in their daily lives.
Once completed, the project is expected to become more than just a recreational spot. It will act as a hub for environmental education, helping Lucknow move toward a more sustainable and resource-conscious future.
